The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of urgent medical conditions in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
- Perform thorough physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and execute effective treatment plans.
- Administer necessary medical procedures, such as wound suturing, splinting, and minor surgical interventions.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care instructions.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient medical histories, treatments, and outcomes accurately and promptly in electronic medical records.
- Stay current with the latest developments in pediatric urgent care medicine and maintain a high standard of clinical excellence.
- Adhere to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in urgent care practice.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $135.00 – $155.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
